Cedars Preschool has developed one of the most comprehensive training programs in the Child Care industry to accompany its Career Ladder. The Cedars Preschool Teacher Training Program is a two full week program designed to certify already credentialed/degreed teachers to become Cedars Certified Teachers. Each day is broken into one-on-one learning, observation, hands-on tasks, written tests and performance evaluations. Training days are led by certified trainers. A cumulative 100 question written final with a passing grade of 90% is required at the end of 2 weeks.
Cedars believes that at the core of its success is its Industry Leading Directors and Partners. At the base and core of each of its Directors is what they learned in Cedar’s Director Training Program. This 60-90 day training program takes experienced, credentialed/degreed directors and certifies them as Cedar’s Directors, Assistant Directors, Executive Directors or even Partner Directors. Along with ALL DIRECTORS being required to complete teacher training as well, Directors complete over 25 modules over the 60-90 days. These modules are comprehensive and cover all responsibilities from Coaching and Counseling to Procare to Daily Routines. Self-Study, one-on-one Instruction, observation, video, hands on learning, testing, research, and performance evaluations are all a part of this comprehensive program. To complete the training a cumulative 200 question written final with a passing grade of 90% is required as well.
These unique training programs along with the trainer teams that execute these programs is one of the reasons that Cedars Preschool continues to be an Industry Leader and will be one for years to come.
